Gentlebrand again assisted Acque Minerali d’Italia Group, this time with the release of leading bottled-water brand Sangemini. After restyling and updating to align Sangemini with the Group’s other brands and corporate image, packaging was developed to convey Sangemini’s unusual, unique positioning beyond water as true “sports nutrition”. Consequently, the bottle was designed to be recognisable for its target audience – athletes and anyone who exercises – so the design is inspired by the shape, strength and compactness of sports water bottles. The open/close cap is drip-proof, the squeeze-grip is practical for running, and the carbon look references material used in sports bikes.
